Fire Force Manga Will Enter Its Final Arc

A recent leak from the upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump magazine confirmed that the Fire Force manga will be entering its final arc. Previously, it was confirmed that the manga is in its final phase, but it was not clear how many arcs the final phase will have.

The author of the series, Atsushi ÅŒkubo previously stated that the manga is expected around volume 30. In the 23rd volume of the manga, Atsuhi said that the Fire Force will be his last manga.

As anime fans know that Fire Force sometimes gets criticized for too much fan service. Recently, the author responded to critics using the manga lines. Fire Force also played a vital role in preventing the fire in Japan.

Season 3 news?

There is still no confirmation if season 3 will ever happen. Given the popularity of the series, it would be surprising if Fire Force doesn’t get season 3. We will have to wait for official confirmation, who knows, we might get a movie instead of a new season.

Fire Force is a Japanese manga series, written and illustrated by Atsushi ÅŒkubo. The series started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in September 2015, and so far has been collected in 30 volumes. Studio David Production animated the series, which aired its first season in July 2019, while the second season aired in July 2020.

Synopsis

Terror has paralyzed the inhabitants of Tokyo after a phenomenon known as “spontaneous combustion” began to turn its inhabitants into a kind of flaming demons called infernals. Despite this, some people are able to handle flames and maintain their human form, thus giving them special abilities that divide them into first, second, and third generation pyrokinetics.  Within this chaos, our protagonist Shinra Kusakabe, a third generation pyrokinetic, joins the Eighth Company of the Fire Force Special Unit, which seeks to discover the truth behind the phenomenon of human combustion.
