Big news just dropped at Anime Expo 2024. Fire Force is coming back for its third and final season soon. Let’s break down what we learned including the trailer and release date.

First off, mark your calendars. Fire Force Season 3 is set to hit screens in April 2025. But here’s the kicker – it’s going to be a split-cour (two part) season.
That means we’ll get the first part in April 2025, and then we’ll have to wait until January 2026 for the conclusion. It’s a long wait, but it’ll be worth it to see how this fiery saga ends.
Crunchyroll shared a new trailer at their industry panel. They showed scenes from the first two seasons to remind us where we left off. Then they teased what’s coming next.
There’s this creepy-looking moon that caught everyone’s eye. And we also see Arthur and Shinra fighting each other. Again.
But that’s not all. They also revealed a new key visual. It shows Shinra, our main guy, heading off to what looks like the final battle. It’s got that “here we go” vibe that gets you pumped for what’s coming.

Now, if you’re wondering where you can watch all this when it comes out, Crunchyroll’s got you covered. They announced they’ll be streaming the new season. And if you need to catch up, they’ve already got the first two seasons ready for you to binge.
For those who might be new to Fire Force, here’s the plot: It’s set in Tokyo, but not the Tokyo we know. In this world, people are bursting into flames out of nowhere. That’s where the Fire Force comes in. They’re special firefighters who deal with this weird burning problem. Shinra, our main character, joins up with Company 8 to help out. He’s got these special “devil’s footprints” that he uses to fight fire with fire. Literally.
The story’s got some twists and turns, and there’s a big mystery behind all the spontaneous human combustion stuff. Season 3 is probably going to dig deep into that.
If you’re into the technical side of things, david production is still handling the animation. They’re the same folks who did the first two seasons, so we can expect the same level of quality. They also did JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, so you know they’re good.
Previously, there were rumours that Studio Shaft will be animating the third season of Fire Force. However, these rumours have been now debunked as the official website of Fire Force anime credits David Production for the third season.
