Fullmetal Alchemist Live Action Film Reveals Full Trailer

The official Twitter account of Fullmetal Alchemist live action franchise revealed the first full trailer of the first film, which is titled “Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Chapter ā€“ The Avenger Scar”. In the trailer, we can see almost all the main characters in action.

The first film follows Edwardā€™s struggle with the character Scar. It will be released on May 22, 2022, all across Japan. The second film, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Chapter ā€“ The Last Transmutation, will be released on June 24 in Japanese cinemas, and shows the final battle of the story.

Fullmetal Alchemist series is written and illustrated by Arakawa, who started the manga serialization in July 2001, and ended the series in June 2010. The manga series has gotten two anime adaptations. The first anime adaptation in 2003, followed by the second anime adaptation in 2009. The anime series is considered one of the highest rated series worldwide.

Crunchyroll describes the anime series as follows:

Disregard for alchemyā€™s laws ripped half of Ed Elricā€™s limbs from his body and left Alā€™s soul clinging to a suit of armor. To restore what was lost, the brothers seek the Philosopherā€™s Stone.
