It’s been 20 years since we first dove into the world of Hiromu Arakawa’s hit dark fantasy series, Full Metal Alchemist, since then the series has gotten two amazing animations (some better than others) as well as some video games. Now for the 20th anniversary of the series Square Enix reveals a trailer for their latest mobile game.

This new game, simply titled, Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile is set to be a free-to-play mobile game available to both iOS and Android. The official website for the game gives us a brief introduction of what to expect for the plot for this new entry in the FMA universe.

Release Date
The Fullmetal Alchemist game will release on both iOS and Android in the Summer of 2022, but only in Japan. The game will be free to play with item-based purchases and other microtransactions in-game. Square Enix has also announced that pre-registration is now available on its official website.
Currently, the game is only set to release in Japan, meaning that there is no date for a worldwide release. However, seeing as how the Full Metal Alchemist is popular all around the world, it’s almost certain that a worldwide release date will be announced soon.
