Horimiya Season 1 aired from January 2021 to April 2021, and fans have been eager for more anime content since the anime marked its end. Sadly, it was announced that Horimiya anime adapted the whole manga, and there was no more content to adapt.
The good news is that the anime series is coming back. Horimiya: -Piece- is an upcoming spin-off to the original anime and was initially announced in March 2023. Horimiya: -Piece- will adapt the parts of the manga that were not adapted first. The anime is slated to release on July 1st, 2023.
A new trailer of Hoirmiya -Piece- has been released on the Aniplex YouTube channel. The latest trailer showcases the opening theme, “Shiawase,” by Omoinotake, and concludes with the ending song, “URL,” performed by Ami Sakaguchi.
A new key visual accompanied the trailer, released on the official Twitter account. The key visual features the three main couples of the anime.
Hori and Miyamura can be seen doing the victory sign. It also might be the case that they are happy to be back for a second time.

About Horimiya
“Hori-san to Miyamura-Kun” is a famous webcomic written and drawn by Hiriko Adachi, commonly known as HERO. The manga was a doujinshi published on HERO’s official website from February 2007 to December 2011 in 4-koma format, with four panels on one page.
After the commercial success of the manga on HERO’s website, Square Enix obtained the rights to publish it physically; the series was collected in 10 tonkaboon volumes from October 2008 to December 2011. The remaining side-story chapters were also published under the label of “Omake.”
In October 2011, Daisuke Hagiwara collaborated with HERO to adapt the webcomic into a manga, which Square Enix published in the monthly magazine named GFantasy. The manga was published from October 2011 to March 2021. In 2015, Yen Press acquired the license to publish Horimiya in English.
The original webcomic was also adapted into an anime that needed more attention. The anime only had six episodes and aired in OVA format, released from September 2012 to May 2021.
