“Manga Ranking I want to see animated” is a yearly event in Japan, where fans vote for their favorite manga that they would like to see animated. The results are announced at the “Anime Japan” event every year.
Just like the previous years, “Anime Japan 2022” was held recently where the results were revealed for the massive anime poll of “Manga I want to see animated in the future”. These mangoes are selected by the general public by voting. A total of 102 works were nominated which are sold or serialized in the period of Jan 1st to Dec 31st, 2021. Here is the list:
10. Kaiju no. 8
Kaiju no 8 is written by Naoya Matsumoto. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ since July 2022.
In a world that is constantly attacked by kaiju (giant monsters), Kafka Hibino is a worker who cleans up the debris left behind after the battle against them. But is this enough for him, who always dreamed of fighting? The answer lies with Reno Ichikawa, the new guy at the company, who dreams of being part of the Defense Division to take down the kaiju.
9. Wind Breaker
Wind Breaker is written by Satoru Nii. It has been serialized since 2021.
This is the legend of how delinquent Sakura rises to become a hero! Fuurin High is known for having the lowest test scores, and the strongest fighters. This spring, Sakura Haruka decides to aim for the top of Fuurin, and learns of the alias Fuurin High holds, namely ‘Boufuurin’, acting as a protective shield for the town and its inhabitants. Sakura joins this group as a member, and his battle to protect the town begins!
8. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You
This manga series is written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa. It has been serialized since Dec 2019.

It is a boys love manga series written by Yuu Toyota. It has been serialized since 2018.

Solo Leveling is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong.

5. Oshi no Ko (My Star)
The manga series is written by Aka Akasaka, and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020.
This manga tells the story of a doctor in love with an idol named Ai Hoshino. One day, Ai shows up at the doctor’s office about to give birth and that same night, the doctor dies under strange circumstances, reincarnating as the newborn son of this idol.
4. Magu-chan: God of Destruction
Magu Chan: God of Destruction manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since June 2020. It is written and drawn by Kei Kameki.
Years ago, when the Cult of Chaos summoned the God of Destruction, Magu Menueku, a devastating battle broke out in which the fate of the Humanity hung by a thread. In order to save humanity, the honorable Holy Knights sealed Magu in a Holy Crystal. 3. Nito to Tatsuka no Nichijo
It is a boys love manga story, written by Satou to Shio.
Nito and Tazuka are childhood friends and classmates. Tazuka is outwardly cold, but to Nito he is a kind and reliable confidant. This isekai manga series has been serialized since 2015. It is written by Plutus.
