Japan Picks Top 10 Manga They Would Like To See Animated (2022)

“Manga Ranking I want to see animated” is a yearly event in Japan, where fans vote for their favorite manga that they would like to see animated. The results are announced at the “Anime Japan” event every year.

Just like the previous years, “Anime Japan 2022” was held recently where the results were revealed for the massive anime poll of “Manga I want to see animated in the future”. These mangoes are selected by the general public by voting. A total of 102 works were nominated which are sold or serialized in the period of Jan 1st to Dec 31st, 2021. Here is the list:

10. Kaiju no. 8

Kaiju no 8 is written by Naoya Matsumoto. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ since July 2022.

In a world that is constantly attacked by kaiju (giant monsters), Kafka Hibino is a worker who cleans up the debris left behind after the battle against them. This manga series is written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa. It has been serialized since Dec 2019.

Solo Leveling is a South Korean web novel written by Chugong.
