Jujutsu Kaisen creator Gege Akutami has been trending in the anime and manga community thanks to his Q&A that was recently made public in Japan during a Jujutsu Kaisen exhibition.
The Q&A confirmed some things that are more or less tragic for the fandom, and honestly, fans would have been better off if the information about Gojo or Nobara was not revealed in the Q&A.
Recently, Gege Akutami has been in the talk of the anime and manga community again, thanks to his recent comment in the Shonen Jump magazine. In case you don’t know, authors of manga usually have a message for fans in the Shonen Jump magazine.
This time, however, Gege didn’t talk about his manga series. Since the author was recently ill and couldn’t work on his manga, the message also referred to his illness and how he passed his time during it.
The message read: “When I wasn’t feeling well, I couldn’t watch movies or read anything at all because all I did was watch compilations of Messi’s plays.”
So Gege Akutami has not outright said that he is a Messi fan, but why would you watch a compilation of someone if you don’t like the player? We can safely assume that Gege Akutami is likely a fan of Messi and his dribbling skills. This might be slightly unpleasant news for Ronaldo fans, given the rivalry between the two players.
