Black Clover fans get ready, this new upcoming chapter looks to be one of the most exciting yet! In fact, it’s so hyped up that the Black Clover spoiler hashtag over on Twitter is trending worldwide. And after seeing some of the leaks it deserves to be up there. So without further delay, let’s jump right into it.
Read on to find everything you need to know and in this week’s upcoming 317th Black Clover chapter, titled, ‘Change’ From spoilers to chapter breakdowns, we’ve got it all right here on Anime Senpai!
Chapter 316 Recap
Quickly before we get into some heavy spoilers for the upcoming chapter of Black Clover, let’s do a brief recap of what went down in chapter 316. In the previous chapter of Black Clover, titled, ‘The Sword of The Unchosen,’ we kicked off with Asta and Liebe preparing to strike Lucifero’s incomplete manifestation.
The two join together in their Devil Union, as Asta presents captain Yami’s katana, which has since been dubbed “demon slasher.” And using a mighty slash the hero is able to slice right through the king of all devils, whilst freeing both captains William and Yami.
With Yami and William free Lucifero cannot be manifested and the chapter ends on a happy note with both captains Yami and vice-captain Nacht praising the hero. As they yell out, “you did it, Asta!” Thus ending the chapter happily, but leaving us, the readers with a feeling that things aren’t over quite yet. After all, it can’t be that easy, right…..
Chapter 317 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 317, titled, ‘Change.’ Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.
This upcoming chapter seems to kick off with an overdue, proper reunion between the kidnapped captains’ and their people. With Lucifero seemingly defeated and Yami and Willaim free the Black Bulls are all over the now saved captain Yami as they share a moment similar to the “you guys really like me” moment from chapter 313.
In the next panels, we also see William and Patri reunited at last, as the former catches Willaim as he falls. From there we see almost all the characters involved in this arc as well as the civilians in different panels as they all cool down and relax, believing themselves to have defeated Lucifero before it was too late. However, Nacht is still anxious and looks quite worried.
As everyone begins to celebrate their victory the second gate devils suddenly manifest and start running around and causing havoc. It is unknown what happens next, but we currently know that an unknown second gate demon tells some civilians the sooner we leave the better.
This new devil was right about leaving soon because in the next couple of panels we see Lucifero’s new manifestation. It is currently unclear how he was able to pull this off seeing as how he was seemingly defeated. No matter how he got here Lucifero has arrived on the scene.
Once being manifested Lucifero stares down at all the humans and claims that their heads are raised too high. He then proceeds to use only one finger to flatten the entire Spade kingdom. All the homes, the palace, and the Black Bulls’ hideout appeared to be destroyed. Asta, who is in the distance watches this in awe.
The chapter ends as Lucifero singles out Asta as the “bastard who was foolish enough to interfere with his manifestation.” The final panel is of both Asta and Liebe looking up at the king of devils in pure fear.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 317 is expected to release officially on Sunday, December 19th, 2021 as usual. However, if there is any change to the schedule we will make sure to update this page.
