A few months ago when the first trailer for Miss Kobaysashi Dragon Maid was released. A new character, Iruru was introduced to the series but some fans on social media didn’t liked how her body proportions were unrealistic.
It was a matter of time that this issue once again causes some sort of controversy on Twitter. After episode 2 premiere, a twitter user @kuresome shared a gif in which Iruru tries to seduce to Kobayashi (thinking that she is a man) and in a matter of minutes started getting negative comments about the anime.
Several users commented that they are removing the series from their watchlist after this scene. Some even commented that first season of the series was so good but it looks like they won’t watch second season. Here are some of the top comments:
Welp, the wholesomeness was nice while it lasted, welcome to fanservice junction…
Wait is this actually in the show? How did they get away with this if it is
this is why people hate anime
erasing my entire exitance in 2019 and removing all memories of watching dragon maid after seeing this
This anime used to be enjoyable to watch now it’s just tasteless fan service.
Kinda upset dragon maid does shit like this because the show had a good concept, cast animation, it honestly had a decent amount of stuff going for it, then it just got fuckin weird
