My Hero Academia season 5 last episode aired on Sept 25, now fans are wondering how long they will have to wait to get a new season? Recent leaks from the Weekly Shonen Jump confirmed that My Hero Academia season 6 will begin next year in October.
Many fans were speculating that season 6 of the series will get a release date for April 2022. As most of the season of MHA gets an April released date. Season 1,2,3 and 5 aired in Spring (March, Apirl), however, because My Hero Academia also got a film release this year. So, it is understandable that the production schedule might have been pushed back.
My Hero Academia season 6 comes from WSJ_manga on Twitter, as some of the fans get access to Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, 3 to 4 days before the official release. My Hero Academia season 6 release date is set for October 2022.

However, My Hero Academia fans won’t have to wait much longer for the official release date announcement, which will be made during the Jump Festa 2022 event (Dec 18-19). Alongside release date, fans could expect interviews with the cast, new character illustration, and a new trailer as well.
My Hero Academia is an action-superhero manga series written by Kohei Horikoshi. The manga started serialization in July 2014, in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. At the time of writing, the manga has been collected into 32 volumes. In case you are keeping up with the manga series, Chapter 337 has been released. The anime adaptation is being produced by Studio Bones.
