Life gets you in a bizarre situation sometimes. But what might be weirder than meeting with your ex-girlfriend and being re-united as stepsiblings? This is the story of Mizuto Irido and Yume Ayai, who are now forced to live with each other as stepsiblings.
After breaking up, they might have expected not to see each other for a long time, but life had other plans in store for them. A rivalry begins to brew between the former couple, both unwilling to acknowledge the other as the older sibling.
Due to their parents being married, they are forced to be friendly with each other in front of their parents. On the other hand, they can’t stand each other at all. Will their parents discover the truth, or will they fall in love again?

In the last episode, we saw the memories of Irido and Ayai about how their relationship began and ended in middle school. Despite having similar interests, hobbies and good chemistry with each other, their relationship took a downturn when Ayai got new friends.
It is said that the ego is the biggest enemy of a human being, and that was the case with Irido and Ayai. In the heat of the moment, Irido said some nasty things to Ayai. But instead of apologizing and making up with each other. They decided not to talk and let the other person apologize first.
Both of them decided to let their ego determine the faith of their relationship. However, both admit they were at fault but couldn’t tell each other, leading to their breakup.
