But Netflix’s version flips the mood completely. “Who is the next prey?” sounds colder, more aggressive, and honestly, way cooler. It makes Jinwoo feel like a real predator, someone hunting his enemies, not just moving on to the next job.
It’s just one line, but it instantly changes the energy. Instead of sounding like a calm leader, Jinwoo suddenly feels like a guy you do not want to mess with.
Why the Translations Are Different, and Why Both Are Technically Right

Netflix, however, translated the spoken Japanese line in the anime, which is actually closer to “Who is the next prey?” So even though Netflix’s line feels more stylized, it’s actually the more accurate version of what was said out loud in the episode.
