Out of the ordinary, it was revealed that Kuma is related to the tragic event that made him what he is today.

One Piece Chapter 1099 Spoilers:
Referencing the spoilers, One Piece chapter 1099 will be titled “Peace Lover.” It begins with King Bekori’s return with some marine forces on his side.
Unfortunately, King Bekori is now acknowledged by the World Government and has become the King of the country.
On the other side, Kuma completely destroys them, all alone, and becomes the acting King while someone else runs the country.
He became the acting King due to massive demands. Following the events, Bonney ate the Toshi Toshi fruit, also known as the Age Age Devil Fruit, allowing her to manipulate her age.
While everyone is assured of King Bekori’s death, it is then revealed that he has survived. Bekori was the individual who spread rumors about Kuma and addressed him as a “Tyrant.”
He tries to attack the Sorbet Kingdom again, but Kuma destroys them all once more. A few moments later, Kuma starts his personal pirate crew while the epithet remains “Tyrant.”
Dragon reveals the location of Dr Vegapunk to Kuma, which is Egghead Island. While the motive is not revealed, both Kuma and Bonney visit the Egghead Island to meet Dr Vegapunk.
They make a trade so Bonney can be treated for free, and Kuma can become the prototype for Project Pacafista. If you are unfamiliar, Project Pacafista is also known as the Clone Trooper Project.
The project was named “Pacafista” since Kuma called himself the ‘Peace Lover,’ which is precisely written as ‘Pacafista’ in Japanese.
At the end of the chapter, it is revealed that Jaygarcia Saturn was eavesdropping on the conversation.
