Episode 1076 Recap

Episode 1076 was titled “The World That Luffy Wants.” The episode was filled with transitions between the last blows between Kaido and Luffy and Kaido’s backstory. Kaido was born as a physically capable child who became famous worldwide.

The Marines came looking for him in his kingdom, hoping to recruit him. But as he always rejected their offer, they bought him from his kingdom, which infuriated Kaido. So, whenever they took Kaido to their headquarters, he would escape.

The escape continued until Rocks D. Xebec recruited him as his underling, and one of the most vital pirate groups was formed. But Kaido escaped Rocks’ group and arrived at Wano, where he established his rule by oppressing people.

During this flashback, we see Luffy struggling as Kaido starts to overpower him. On the other hand, Mononosuke starts to eject fire clouds, which hold Onigashima in the air a little longer. The fight continues as Kaido taunts Luffy about what sort of world he is trying to create.

Luffy reloads his “Bajrang Gun” and attacks Kaido with full force; while answering, he is trying to create a world where people can eat as much as they want. This was the last exchange of blows between these two Emperors, as this attack sent Kaido flying down to the ground.

And now, after 20 years of hardships and struggles, Wano Kingdom has been set free, as Monkey D. Luffy has defeated Kaido.
