Despite getting mixed reviews early in the Japanese cinema release, the One Piece film Red continues to dominate the box office in Japan. The pirates are continuously reigning at the Japanese box office for the sixth weekend, earning 494 million yen (3.47 million USD) on the 6th weekend.
On 9.94 million admissions, the total domestic gross profit of One Piece Film Red has reached an impressive 13.87 billion yen (97.2 million USD) in 37 days. It has already surpassed JUJUTSU KAISEN 0’s total box office gross (13.75 billion yen in 157 days) to become the ninth highest-grossing Japanese film of all time, behind Makoto Shinkai’s 2019 film Weathering With You (14.19 billion yen). Not only that, but One Piece Red is the highest-earning film of 2022 in Japan.

One Piece film Red is coming to the US and Canada on November 4. Crunchyroll announced that tickets for North America would go on sale on October 6. Crunchyroll is also bringing the film to New Zealand and Australia on November 3. The ticket sale will go live on October 5. On September 17 and 18, the Philippine premiere of One Piece Film: Red will begin with a fan screening.
