One Piece To Reveal Unreleased Story Ideas That Weren’t Published In The Manga

One Piece creator, Eiichiro Oda has been writing the series for a very long time. Of course, there will be many unreleased stories that never made it to the final product (manga).

In case you don’t know, generally the mangaka writes a manuscript (rough sketches with simple dialogue in this case) which is then discussed with the editors. The editors give advice to the mangaka about the plot and character development. The real work gets started once the editor gives the manuscripts the go-ahead, but a lot of time, mangaka has to change his story on the advise of the editors.

Eiichiro Oda has been writing One Piece manga since 1997. There will number of his ideas that weren’t published into the main series. A small booklet called “Road to Laugh tale” will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump. The booklet will contain Oda’s manuscripts that never appeared in the manga.

After Luffy and alliance defeating Kaido and Big Mom, One Piece manga series is going on a 1 month break so that Eiichiro Oda can prepare for the final act of the manga. “Road to Laugh tale” will start publication in Weekly Shonen Jump starting from next week. The manuscripts will be shared in 4 parts in Shonen Jump issue #30, 31, 32, 33, starting from June 26.

There are many speculations from fans about the manuscripts, like some believe that Oda’s original plan for Wano was that Zoro will be the one to defeat Kaido, or there is another theory that Oda originally planned that Luffy and alliance were going to get defeated by Big Mom and Kaido. Even if there is a strong chance that these theories might not come true in the upcoming manuscripts, but fans will surely some interesting information to talk about.
