Surprisingly, not many fans know that the opening theme song of Oshi no Ko has its roots in a novel, penned by Aka Akasaka, the creative genius behind both Oshi no Ko and Kaguya Sama: Love Is War. The light novel, titled “45510,” delves into the captivating story of Hoshino Ai’s life as a member of the idol group B-Komachi.
At present, the light novel is available exclusively in Japanese, but it can be accessed for free on Young Jump’s website. For those eager to explore Hoshino Ai’s life before the tragedy, translation software such as Google Translate can be used to read the novel in their preferred language. Given the immense popularity and curiosity surrounding Ai’s character, there is hope that an official English translation will be made available soon, allowing a broader audience to immerse themselves in the backstory of this beloved character.
