One of the most renowned and recognized game series’ Dark Souls’ is reportedly receiving an anime adaptation.
GiantFreakinRobot, an insider, claims that the anime adaptation of Dark Souls is in the works. Dark Souls is a genre-defining game and the prestigious “Game of the Year” Award winner.
According to the insider, Netflix will be producing the anime adaptation, marking their second major game to anime series adaptations after a highly successful anime adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077 titled “Cyberpunk Edgerunners.”

Release Date
Currently, there is no release date for the Dark Souls anime. The official announcement of Dark Souls anime is expected in a few months. Netflix is expected to announce a release window alongside the announcement.
As the game is developed by a Japanese studio, the anime will most likely be animated by a ‘Japanese Studio’ under Netflix.
