The official website of That Time I got reincarnated as a slime anime series has released a promotional video and a key visual for the upcoming film, which is scheduled to be released in November 2022. The film is titled “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna Hen”, and it will be featuring an original story written by the author, Fuse.

The film is an entirely new original story, with Fuse handling the original plot. The story unfolds after the slime Rimuru evolves into a Demon King to save his friends. In the small sub-country of Raaja, situated to the west of the Tempest Demonic Federation, where Rimuru reigns, a long conspiracy revolves around the mysterious power of the Queen. Also, Rimuru’s friends meet a survivor named Hiiro, Benimaru’s older brother. A new battle is about to break out ». Finally, the title is confirmed as Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Guren no Kizuna Hen (Blazing Bonds Arc).

That Time I got reincarnated as a Slime anime series is based on light novels of the same name, written by Fuse, and drawn by Mitz Vah. The first season of the anime adaptation was produced by 8-Bit studios, which aired in October 2018. The second season was released in two parts, the first part aired in January 2021 and the second in July 2021 in Japan.
The series tells the story of a salesman who gets killed, and gets reincarnated as a slime in a world of magic and swords. He gets unique powers after getting isekai’d and gather allies to build his own nation of monsters.
