The third season of Demon Slayer, Swordsmith Village Arc, debuted on April 09, 2023, with a riveting one-hour episode. This sparked anticipation among fans for more content.
In a recent development, a Twitter leak suggests that the final episode will follow suit, delivering another longer-than-usual episode.
At the time of penning this article, only five episodes of Demon Slayer have been broadcasted, and admirers of Nezuko already have some exciting news awaiting them.
About the Leak
The total number of episodes for Demon Slayer’s third season remains unknown. However, fan speculations suggest that just like the Entertainment District Arc, the third season, which is adapting the Swordsmith Village Arc, will consist of 11 episodes.
In the manga series, the Swordsmith Village Arc is only two chapters longer than the Entertainment District Arc.
Given that the anime is expected not to omit any content, and if the studio decides to conclude the arc with 11 episodes, they would need to extend the final episode to accommodate the additional content from the manga.
On May 17, a confidential tweet from @oecuf0, a reputable leaker in the anime community, unveiled some highly anticipated news.
As per the tweet, Demon Slayer Season 3: Swordsmith Village Arc is likely to conclude with an hour-long final episode. A screenshot of the aforementioned Twitter post is provided below:
