“FNS Music Festival” is a particular music program on Japanese TV. The program is held to celebrate the anniversary of Fuji TV, and this time, Spy x Family will be adapted into a musical play on this program.
With the announcement of the “Spy x Family” musical adaptation, auditions also started for getting the cast of this play. The most challenging audition was to get the character for the fan-favourite character, Anya Forger. Numerous workshops and tests were held to get a little girl who portrays the same energy as Anya Forger.
The Role of Anya Forger
In the end, four girls, Aoi Ikemura, Miharu Izawa, Miharu Fukuchi, and Risa Masuda, were selected as Quattro, who will play the character of Anya Forger in this musical play. A video was also released on Youtube by the respective theatre’s channel, showcasing these girls’ outstanding acting skills at an early age. The video is down below:

I want to do my best to make people think, “Anya is cute with a smile” and “Anya is a good dancer.” I want to be Anya who can make the many viewers smile as much as I do. Let’s do our best! Oh!

I love musicals, so I want everyone who comes to see me to feel the excitement of musicals and smile. I will do my best to become a cute and funny Anya that will remain in everyone’s hearts!

This is Miharu Fukuchi, who plays Anya. She was full of surprise and joy when she was selected in the audition. She is thrilled to be on stage as Anya. She will do her best so that the audience can enjoy the world of the spy family. Thank you for her

I like crunchy bacon and I thought that my personality is similar to Anya. She wanted to play the role of Anya and practised singing a lot. When I got the call that I passed the exam, my family was eating hamburger steaks and we were all together! I was delighted. I would be very happy if everyone could see the cute and mischievous Anya.

Venue and Airing Details
The musical play of Spy x Family will air in three venues at three different periods:
In the Imperial Theater of Tokyo, it will air between 9 to 29 March of 2023
In the Hyogo Prefectural Arts Center KOBELCO Large Hall of the Hyogo Prefecture, It will air in April of 2023.
In the Hakata-za theatre of Fukuoka Prefecture, it will air in May of 2023.
