Chapter 234 Recap

Before we jump into chapter 235’s spoilers, let’s do a quick recap of what went down in chapter 234, titled, ‘There Is No Mending.’ The name itself is pretty accurate for what goes down in this chapter, as the relationships quite literally can’t be mended.

Chapter 234 kicks off where the chapter previous to it left us off with Mikey coming down to deliver another punch. The surprise of this chapter is what comes next as we suddenly jump from an all-black panel to Takemitchi waking up in a hospital bed all wrapped up. The second biggest surprise of the chapter is what follows after that where we see Koko at Takemitchi’s bedside, informing him that he has been unconscious for three days.

Koko then begins to explain what happened after Mikey knocked him out with that last punch. It turns out the person who saved Takemitchi was actually Senju, before Mikey could deliver any more blows Senju jumped in to save the day. She even went as far as to bow down to Mikey and beg him to stop, to end the entire conflict, and to save Takemitchi’s life Senju disbanded Brahman.

With that Koko leaves the room and Chifuyu enters a little bit later. Chifuyu upon entering immediately drops a bomb on Takemitchi (figuratively) informing him that he went to Draken’s funeral and after thinking to himself Chifuyu has a question to ask our hero. Why did he come back? Chifuyu even goes as far as to yell that it’s Takemitchi’s fault Draken is dead. Of course, he immediately apologizes, but Takemitchi agrees with him, saying it is his fault he then asks to be left alone.

The chapter ends as Takemitchi pledges to himself that he won’t get anyone else involved in this mess. Instead, he will solve it completely on his own.

Chpater 235 Spoilers

Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 79’s spoilers. Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.

This upcoming chapter is pretty short and is almost like a cooldown chapter after the latest battle that just went down and the aftermath that followed. The chapter seems to kick off with former Toman members visiting Takemitchi in his hospital bed, much like Chifuyu in the previous chapter.

They all tell Takemitchi that if he needs help with Mikey to just call on one of them, they’re friends and can help. Takemitchi thanks them but says he won’t need their help. Sticking to the vow he made to himself last chapter after talking with Chifuyu. This time adding that he will protect everyone.

After the ex-Toman members leave Hina, who has been taking care of Takemitchi while in the hospital has a serious talk with her boyfriend. It’s currently unknown what they talk about but it is most likely about finding or giving up on Mikey and maybe a mention of Draken.

Hanagaki again repeats what he said to the others to Hina. Promising he will handle this himself and that she doesn’t have to worry for him. Hina realizes there is no way to talk him out of this so she hugs Takemitchi. The chapter ends as Takemitchi, (still in the hospital) cries in Hinata’s arms.

Fellow Tokyo Revengers fans, we are now ready for the final arc to pick up and truly begin.
