Tokyo Revengers is now rated higher than most of the popular franchises including Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hunter x Hunter and Attack on Titan.
Tokyo Revengers manga popularity has increased exponentially after receiving an anime adaptation in April 2021. Anime adaptation from Liden Film was not up to high standard, as many fans complained about the animation quality.
Although the anime adaptation quality might not be as high as Jujutsu Kaisen but it seems like fans are enjoying the Tokyo Revenger manga way more. Recently, Tokyo Revengers manga rating surpassed some well known franchises. Tokyo Revengers is now ranked 39 with a score of 8.74 in My Anime List manga rankings. Attack on Titan is ranked 81 with a score of 8.59 while Jujutsu Kaisen is ranked 97 with a rating of 8.55.

Tokyo Revenger Synopsis
Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that’s reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been ki*led by the Manji Gang members that he knew in middle school. Takemichi gets the ability to travel 12 years back in time. He swears to prevent his girlfriend death no matter what.

The only reason I searched for the manga was because the anime is censored in America. Can’t stand censorship. And it’s all because people are afraid ignorant Americans will associate the manji / swastika with the hakenkreuz.
I guess Americans will never be grown up enough to learn about foreign culture?
Tokyo Revengers manga is boosting up because how good the anime is and attracts fans towards it. Also Jujutsu Kaisen Mangaka is on hiatus which means currently publishing is not going on so this was obvious. As for AOT manga it has already ended and most people have already read it. I am a Tokyo Revengers and Jujutsu Kaisen Manga reader myself
