We are just a few days from the official release of Black Clover chapter 335! As usual, spoilers and leaks are out by now, and from the looks of it, this chapter will be mind-blowing for readers and actual characters within the world of Black Clover!

Chapter 334 Recap
Before we jump into spoilers for chapter 335, let’s recap what went down in the previous chapter of the series, titled ‘Fragile Soul.’ Be sure to read the chapter yourself; you can find it for free and officially below!
The chapter starts with a brief explanation of Asta’s newest form, which is just an adjustment on the amount of power he uses during devil union. Funnily enough, I prefer this form better than the other. In this limited form, Asta & Liebe can stay in their union form for a total of ten minutes!
With the explanation out of the way, the two opponents begin fighting immediately. After trading near blows for a while, neither being able to connect due to each other’s magic, Lucius discovers a solution; he’ll fight with physical attacks!
However, thanks to a certain King of all Devils, Asta is more than prepared for this and manages to fight Lucius off. All is going well until the villain reveals his Spade Kingdom grimoire and his second magical power. Soul Magic! By touching the souls of his opponents, Lucius can do all sorts of spells and play around with what essentially makes a human. And this is precisely what he does to Sister Lilly, right in front of Asta.
Since Asta’s anti-magic is protecting him from any effects, Lucius goes after Lilly and successfully manages to turn her into his first True Human. A form he himself had assumed not long ago. Shocked by her transformation and the now infamous statement where Lilly says to Asta, “For the sake of world peace die.” Asta is briefly distracted by these words and is cut down by Lucius in the final few pages of the chapter!
Chapter 335 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up let’s dive right into chapter 335. Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out, so there are confirmed spoilers below; you have been warned.
The chapter 335 seems to start shortly after the end of 334, as we can see Asta, now on the floor, suffering from his gashing wound. Even though his blood is, quite literally, painted all around him, Asta still attempts to get up and tells Lucius that the fight isn’t over yet. However, the villain tells Asta otherwise, as he says, “Don’t be so hard on yourself. You don’t even have the strength to move anymore. Besides you only have a few minutes left to live.”
Perhaps Lucius’ statement would have been true if, at that moment, Noelle, pulling along a frightened Mimosa, didn’t appear on the scene. Dropping Mimosa off to heal Asta’s injuries, Noelle leaps right into battle, sending a powerful water spell at the “True Humans” Lucius and Lilly.
Now the blow was right on target and would have done quite some damage if Lilly didn’t do what she did, which was to showcase her new magical powers! Now equipped with the spatial magic of Beelzebub. Lucius quickly explains what the young royal just witnessed. You see using his soul magic Lucius was able to purify the devil’s power and essentially give it to Lilly.
He plans to do the same with humanity, using all the devils he conquered when he defeated the remaining devils of the underworld. I guess that explains why Lucius took over a year to launch his plan; he was in hell fighting literal demons!
Lucius decided to dub his new race of True Humans with Devil Magic as, Paladins, seeing as how they are fighting for the “safety” of this world. Lilly is the first of these “Paladins,” and as Lucian mentioned before, he plans to rule over this new race as the Greatest Wizard King. A statement that annoys the injured Asta.
Following this statement, Noelle and Lilly go back and forth for a while before none other than the Magic Knight Captains arrive on the scene! Without wasting a moment, Lilly uses her new magic to teleport herself and Asta away, and soon after Lucius as well. But not before he can make eye contact with the captains and give them his signature sly grin. And with that, the chapter comes to a close!
It’s important to note that at the bottom of the final page the editor mentions that judgment day is in seven days. This most definitely means that next week’s chapter will be absolutely insane! I know I, for one can’t wait to see what Tabata has cooked up for us!
Release Date
Black Clover 335 is currently expected to release Sunday, August 28th, 2022. As of the writing of this article, there have been no announced delays to the upcoming chapter. Meaning that the official English release of Black Clover will most likely stick to schedule and release as usual.
