It has been almost 3 months since the Black Clover manga series went on hiatus. The creator of the series, Yuki Tabata took a break from drawing because he felt like he needs to prepare before writing the upcoming arc which is going to be the final arc of the Black Clover series.
Black Clover manga series is returning on August 1 with chapter 332 and the chapter is titled “A little over a year after the fierce battle. Asta and others are summoned!?”. According to reports, the Black Clover final arc is titled “Those who become the Strongest Wizard King”.
The information comes from @shonenleaks who usually gets his hands on the upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump magazine (where the Black Clover manga series gets published) a few days earlier than the official release. According to the leaker, the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump issue 34 is hinting at a little over 1 year time skip for the Black Clover series.
A time skip of more than 1 year means that some of our main characters, including Yuno, Asta and Noel are now 18 years of age or older. Fans could finally see the relationship of Asta and Noel getting more mature. We will also see time skip characters whose appearance can change significantly. Maybe, Asta grew a little bit in height, or his voice got louder.
The anime adaptation of the Black Clover manga series finished the broadcast, with the final episode releasing on March 30, 2021. The production staff has not revealed when or if the Black Clover anime series will return.
The Black Clover manga series is currently revealing some shocking new things, including the identity of the time devil, which could turn one of the most beloved characters, into a traitor. Black Clover might not turn out to be as long as One Piece, but it is surely going to be favorite manga series for many fans, if the final arc is finished properly.
Manga Plus describes the manga series as follows:
Young Asta was born with no magic ability in a world where magic is everything. In order to prove his strength and keep a promise with his friend, Asta dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the land, the Wizard King!
