Bleach Thousand Years Blood War arc anime production was greenlit five years ago, shortly after the manga adaptation ended. According to voice actor Noriaki Sugiyama, Bleach’s anime production has been causing trouble for other anime production companies.
Bleach’s final arc, titled “Thousand Years Blood War”, will tell the story of Quincy and their revenge on the Soul Society. Many new anime characters will be introduced in Bleach’s upcoming anime (the first episode is scheduled to release on October 10), and for that reason, the production committee has hired many new voice actors.

On October 11, a talk show was held in Tokyo for the advance screening of the first and second episodes of the final arc “Bleach”, where Noriaki Sugiyama (voices Uryu Ishida) revealed that the fact that many famous voice actors have participated in the production of Bleach, influenced the production of other anime projects.
Sugiyama revealed that there is a list explaining which actors will appear in how many episodes and that at its peak, roughly 80 people are filming in a single day. “I have heard that in the days of the week when we filmed Bleach, other anime productions could not continue. “
Masakazu Morita (Ichigo Kurosaki) and Fumiko Orikasa (Rukia Kuchiki) nodded at this statement saying, “It’s true!” Morita said, “When I went to film the other anime projects I was involved in, I was scolded a lot. When I filled my schedule with the recordings of Bleach, they said “Can’t you do something about it?” and the different producers and my representative complained. All I could do was apologize.”

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War arc will focus on the story of the Quincy and their fight to destroy the Soul Society. Quincy were the humans with the ability to sense hollows. But they misused their powers and thats why Shinigami eradicated all the Quincy. Later, it’s revealed that not all Quincy were destroyed, but some were waiting for a chance to get their revenge on the Soul Society.
