The most anticipated question can Goku beat Superman? It is finally answered. Many Dragon Ball and specifically Goku fans are obsessed with the famous question. Can he (insert your favorite character here) beat Goku, though? There is no power limit when it comes to Goku’s strength. So, fans cannot stop themselves from comparing Goku with other characters from the Pop Culture.
It is a meaningless debate among the enthusiasts from the different franchises, but it is still fun. No fictional character that comes close to Goku’s strength has been created. At least in Dragon Ball fans’ minds. Suddenly, a question lingered in one fan’s mind: Can the son of Krypton beat the infamous powerhouse Goku?
Recently, IGN got a chance to interview Goku’s English voice actor, Sean Schemmel, and they brought around this question to the table.
Sean Schemmel’s answer to the question has a unique take and even went into the depths of the explanation to support its answer. His answer would not surprise Goku fans but will surely disappoint most Superman fans. Sean Schemmel detailed the several circumstances in which the Dragon Ball franchise’s protagonist might be victorious over Superman.
The simple answer is yes, “Schemmel said. “The long and short of it is that Goku is a god. There are two possibilities: if Earth is not in danger, Goku would ask Superman to come as near the sun as possible to charge up, and then he would battle him. But if Earth was to be in danger, he would fight him for as long as he could, but if he failed, he would probably Instant Transmission Superman to a planet without a yellow sun, where he would lose all his abilities and Goku would triumph.

As you can see, Goku’s English voice actor has picked his winner, but this debate is far from over. Even though Schemmel has provided predominant evidence and backed his answer with logic, we cannot hand the victory to anyone over a single statement considering various factors until we see an official crossover between the two franchises and an intense matchup between these two. Both of them are illustrations of dominance in their respective universes. It’s difficult to predict who would come out on top in a fight because of how well-matched they are.
