Chainsaw Man Anime Confirmed To Air In 2022

Jump Festa 2022 has blessed us with many great anime announcements. Chainsaw Man anime series is confirmed to release in 2022, however, exact release date has not been announced yet.

Chainsaw Man manga series has been shattering records after records, even without the anime adaptation, Chainsaw Man manga has more sales than Black Clover manga.

Chainsaw Man anime is produced by Mappa Studio, who released a trailer a while ago:

Chainsaw Man Manga Part 2 Release Date

Chainsaw Man manga part 2 will start serialization in Summer 2022 in Shonen Jump+ app. The part 1 of the manga ended in Dec 2020, but continue to sell pretty well even after the ending. So it was a matter of time before part 2 of the series got announced. Chainsaw Man manga has reached 12 million copies in circulation.

Not much is known about the staff of the Chainsaw Man. Studio Mappa is in charge of animating the series, so fans can rest assured that the series will get a high quality adaptation. Mappa is also hiring new animators just for Chainsaw Man series.


The official cast of the anime series has not been announced yet. However, a few weeks ago, a pre-selection voice cast leak was circulating on the internet which you can see below:

  • Pochita will be voiced by Ikue Otani (also voiced Chopper and Pikachu)
  • Denji will be voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto (also voiced Bakugo)
  • Makima will be voiced by Yoko Hikasa (also voiced Frieda Reiss)
  • Power will be voiced by Sumire Uesaka (also voiced Nagatoro)

Even if this list is true, pre-selection doesn’t mean the list is final. The pre – selection list often have changes in the anime industry. Although, if by some chance the seiyuu remain the same as the list describes, fans will have a treat to watch.
