Cowboy Bepop Live Action Won’t Faithfully Adapt The Anime

Andre Nemec is one of the showrunners of Cowboy Bepop live action adaptation. He recently gave an interview to the Entertainment Weekly Magazine, where he admitted that the live action will add more original stories.

Andre Nemec said that the live action will be an expansion of the canon material, adding more original stories. He further stated that “Just doing the same thing as anime will leave the audience hungry as that will be something they already have seen in the anime”.

According to Andre, the live action won’t violate the canon material in any direction, but will slightly, add some extra material to Cowboy Bepop world that has already been created.
