First, Keitarou meets the president of the hiking club, Shore. His name is Nagayama, and he encourages Keitarou to socialize as much as possible with the members. Keitarou continues his awkward interaction until Nagayama invites him to his car.
They are traveling to an unknown place, which Keitarou is curious about. Nagayama tells him about the suicide club and how every year, this club commits a collective suicide, and one person with the same name comes back every year. His name is Nagayama.
After that, Keitarou faints, and Eiko realizes this instantly. Now, Eiko and Yayoi are on the loose to find where Nagayama took Keitarou. They finally found them at an apartment complex that is famous for suicides. As soon as they enter, Keitarou is about to hang himself to death.
Yayoi approaches Nagayama, and as he picks the little girl up, she makes him chug a whole bottle of sake (alcohol). This forces the ghost out of Nagayama, but the actual body of him is still active. So, she hits his head with the sake bottle, fainting Nagayama.
Yayoi later reveals that Nagayama’s real name is Machida, and he was possessed by a ghost named Nagayama. This ghost possessed him after Machida was released from jail, and people were not ready to accept him.
After this, the three flee from the scene until Keitarou feels something sinister. Yayoi tells him that after they leave, Nagayama hanged all the people present in the apartment so that his ghost could devour their guts at a perfect angle.
After this, they leave, and police arrive at the scene. Keitarou gets pretty disappointed that, like always, he was attracted by supernatural things.
