Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Release Date

Demon Slayer fans waited for a long time, and finally the “actual” season 2 or “Entertainment District Arc” is now just a few days away. Here is everything you need to know about it.

The first episode of Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc will begin on December 5, available on Funimation and Crunchyroll. The first episode will be 1-hour long special.

Fans will also be able to listen to new theme songs performed by Aimer. The opening theme is titled “Zankyo Chi Uta”, while the ending theme is titled “Asa ga Kuru”. Aimer is one of the most popular singers in Japan. In anime community, she is known for singing some of the absolute fire theme songs including “Fate Stay Night 2nd opening”, “Vinland Saga ending 1”, and “Fire Force 3rd opening”.

In Japan, Demon Slayer rating was continuously going down. One of the main reasons for low ratings was the “Mugen Train Arc” was not offering anything new to the audience. Most of the fans have already seen the film, so why would they want to see it again in episodic form? However, ratings are certain to go up when Entertainment District Arc will start airing on Dec 5.

  2. This is a great story and they have done an excellent job with the anime. That being said, making a full season out of the movie they just released and making their fans wait even longer for season 2 was one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard of, and a stupid business decision (in my opinion). In their attempt to gain more fans I think they actually just pissed a lot of their current fans off, and their ratings reflect that. I know I completely boycotted this last “so-called” season. Let’s hope they learned their lesson. I’ll definitely be back for the real season 2 though. It’s gonna be SICK!
