Episode 22 was titled “Ocean 6.” The episode starts with Shiki and his team thanking Elsie for her help on the island. They parted ways and started to prepare themselves to face off against Ziggy.
Shiki brought Xenolith to the ship, but he stopped working suddenly. No one is willing to believe that this tiny robot is the legendary founder of Shiki’s Ether Gear. Then, suddenly, he wakes up and tells Shiki why he made contact with him.
Then we are shifted to Nero’s side, who are also trying to defeat Ziggy, as he now threatens Nero. Nero transfers this mission’s responsibility to his son. Now, they are traveling to Oceans, where Ziggy is present.

Xenolith reveals how Ziggy fears that Shiki might become powerful with the help of Xenolith. So, he starts to train Shiki in the VR training room, as physical strength is essential during Ether Gear combat. Alongside Shiki, other teammates also join him for training.
Xenolith later binds everyone with a rope and tells them to free themselves using their Ether Gear. But as everyone is trying their best to do so, Xenolith transforms into Ziggy.
