Rejoice Fairy Tail franchise fans. Today we have some good news for you. Fairy Tail anime is coming back with a brand new story. New anime will adapt the story of “Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest”, which is a direct sequel to original anime series.
Fairy Tail: 100 Year Quest story
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a manga series written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda. Here is the plot of the story, according to Kodansha:
“Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail Guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago. A mysterious town, a baffling spirit, a ghastly new enemy … and a brand new continent to explore. When you’re with real friends, the adventures never stop!”

Release date for Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest has not been revealed yet. More details about the release date and production studio will be announced later. We will update you once the new information comes out.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a direct sequel to the original Fairy Tail manga series. Manga story takes place one year after the events of Fairy Tail manga. Series started serialization in July 2018 in Kodansha’s magazine pocket manga app.
