Netflix’s official YouTube channel has just dropped the final trailer for the live-action adaptation of One Piece, the best-selling manga series of all time, created by Eiichiro Oda.
The newly released trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into what fans can anticipate from the eight-episode series, set to premiere on Netflix tomorrow, August 31.
The final trailer is a feast for the eyes and completely different from the first trailer. It brings together Luffy and his friends, each with their own grand ambitions, showcasing their unity and deepening relationships. The trailer is packed with memorable moments, including Luffy’s impactful statement: “If the path is too easy, it’s the wrong path.”

What Is One Piece?
One Piece is a cultural phenomenon that has captivated audiences worldwide since its inception. Created by Eiichiro Oda, this Japanese manga series debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in July 1997 and has been a mainstay ever since.
As of July 2023, the series has been compiled into 106 tankōbon volumes. The story revolves around Monkey D. Luffy and his band of pirates, known as the Straw Hat crew, as they traverse the Grand Line in search of the legendary treasure, One Piece, to become the next Pirate King.
The franchise has expanded into various forms of media, including an anime series that started airing in 1999, numerous films, and even video games.
