It is Wednesday, and as is the norm, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236 spoilers have arrived! The battle in Shinjuku has been going pretty strong for the past three months, and with the previous chapter of the series, the fight between Gojo and Sukuna was believed to be over.
However, the spoilers and raw scans of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236 have defied expectations, resulting in the death of one of the fan-favorite characters.
The chapter is officially set to be released on Monday, September 25, 2023, with the next Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine issue. In this article, we will cover the latest spoilers for the next installment of Jujutsu Kaisen!
But before we begin with the spoilers, here is a short recap of Chapter 235!
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 235 Recap:
Chapter 235 of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 13,” and according to Kashimo, the battle was concluded between Gojo and Sukuna.
It was the first time in a thousand years that The King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, felt fear by fighting against someone. After Gojo defeated Chimera Beast Agito, he followed up with his plan to kill Mahoraga and Sukuna.
The battle is going strong. Gojo uses his Reversed Cursed Technique to heal himself and chants a spell to restore his cursed output. After successfully restoring his output, Gojo shot a Red C.T. over his head, and Mahoraga went to stop it. But no one realized that the Blue C.T. that killed Agito was still there.
The Red and Blue C.T. mix up, and the magnum opus of Gojo, Hollow Purple Technique, initiates and proceeds to destroy half of the city and suck in Gojo himself, Sukuna, and Mahoraga. Sukuna is fatally damaged, and it eradicated Mahoraga. The chapter ended with healing from the blast.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236 Spoilers:
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236 begins with a different perspective: looking back at Gojo’s past, where he is seen talking with Geto and others, saying that ‘it is awful’ to which Geto says it’s rude and laughs it off.
Gojo continues the conversation by saying that when people die, they are alone.
Gojo hopes this is an imagination of other people; Geto says no one cares about this, to which Gojo says it does and says, “About my father..” the conversation is cut off when Shoko arrives.

Geto asks Gojo how The King of Curses was, to which Gojo replies that Sukuna was damn strong and was not even going all in yet.
Sukuna might have won even if he did not have Megmui’s cursed techniques, to which Geto is confused as Sukuna made Gojo, of all people, believe it.
Continuing their conversation, Gojo says he gave his all into the fight, the techniques, and the talents he learned. It was a fun fight for him, and he always wanted to reach Sukuna to test out his abilities. Gojo feels sorry for Sukuna because he did not bring the best out of him.
For the first time in a while, the chapter mentions Nanami. Nanami once asked Geto to leave all of their jobs to Gojo, as Gojo never thought of Jujutsu as something to protect.
However, Gojo is satisfied that he was killed by someone stronger than him instead of dying of a disease. Nanami says that he will never justify Gojo’s last moments and will feel sympathy for him instead.
Gojo continues to ask Nanami how it felt in his last moments, and he replies he once asked Mei Mei about it, and she gave him two options: Move North if you want to look for yourself from a new perspective. Move South if you want to stay who you are.
Nanami chooses South, and Gojo bids farewell to everyone in the conversation.
The chapter then cuts back to the fight, and the most unfortunate and sorrowful panel welcomes the readers, Gojo lying down with his lower half blown to bits. Sukuna explains how Mahoraga is adapting works.
Mahoraga adapts to attack over time; the more he is attacked, the faster he will adapt to the attack. He expected Mahoraga to be the role model that transcends Gojo’s infinity.
While Mahoraga was adapting to Gojo’s infinity, it was changing the C.E. to neutralize it. When Mahoraga slashed Gojo, it expanded his target and cut the world and space.
Cutting to a horrifying panel of Sukuna standing before Gojo, but half of his body is destroyed and severed. Sukuna appreciates Gojo’s strength and says he will never forget a fighter like him.
The battle between them is over, and unpredictably, the winner is Sukuna.
Rest In Peace Gojo Satoru!
The chapter ends with Thunder God Kashimo arriving on the battlefield to fight against Sukuna, who tells him not to let him down without wasting time on feeling sorrow for Gojo’s death.
Here are all the spoilers currently available for the next chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen! No one saw Gojo’s death coming, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. The series will continue without breaks, and chapter 237 will be available on October 2, 2023.
