The wait is finally over for KonoSuba fans! It’s been six long years since the second season of “KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!” graced our screens, and the anticipation has been building ever since.
Well, it’s time to rejoice because KonoSuba Season 3 has been officially announced to premiere in 2024.
For those unfamiliar, “KonoSuba” is a popular anime series that follows the adventures of Kazuma Satou, a boy who is transported to a fantasy world after his death.
In this new world filled with MMORPG elements, Kazuma forms a hilariously dysfunctional adventuring party with a goddess, an archwizard, and a crusader. The series has been a hit for its mix of comedy, fantasy, and unique characters, and fans have been eagerly awaiting more.
The release date announcement for season 3 was accompanied by a key visual showing Kazuma and his party going to another adventure.
Over the years, the franchise has grown, spawning a spin-off series, “KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!”, which focused on the character Megumin. The spin-off was produced by the Drive studio and aired from April to June 2023.
Now, the same studio, established in 2015, will also be producing the long-awaited third season of the main series​. The previous two KonoSuba anime seasons were produced by Studio Deen.
