In their Twitter post on May 22, 2023, Studio Pierrot revealed that Michael B. Jordan paid a visit and received a special gift from Naruto’s creative team.
Studio Pierrot is a company recognized for producing popular and all-time favorite animes, including Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover, Tokyo Ghoul, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generation.
Who is Michael “Bakari” Jordan?
In case you don’t know, Michael B. Jordan, an American actor, loves anime like any other person.
He has been a fan of Naruto ever since he was a kid. In fact, in 2018, Jordan was asked regarding his favorite anime character in one of his YouTube videos.
He revealed in the video that he has been loving Naruto Shippuden since he was 12 or 13 years old. He even shared that watching Naruto and Sasuke grow up until the show ended made him shed some tears.
In fact, according to the actor, his movie “Creed III” is inspired by the story of the relationship between Naruto and Sasuke – two brothers emotionally battling one another.
The Creed III movie premiere will happen in Japan, which allowed Jordan to visit Japan where his favorite anime was created.
This opportunity also led him to visit his favorite anime studio, Studio Pierrot, which indicates his love and passion for anime.

During his visit, the character designer of Naruto, Tetsuya Nishio, gave him a cardboard of the anime in return for a Creed III poster with Michael’s autograph.

Studio Pierrot later had its anime adaptation, premiered its first part in 2002, and aired until 2007. While its second part, Naruto Shippuden, premiered in February 2007 and ended on March 13, 2017.
