Anime!, One of the biggest anime news website in Japan recently conducted a survey, asking their readers to rank the upcoming anime series, releasing in Summer 2022 that they are looking forward to seeing. He gets stuck in a game world while playing with the appearence of his game character, a skeleton having great magical power. The series offers a unique perspective from the villains points of view. He doesn’t show any mercy to his opponents, doesn’t matter if they are innocent or not. Madhouse is the studio behind the production. Overlord IV is scheduled to release on July 5th.

The series revolves around a genius boy, Senku who wakes up thousands of years after all the humanity was petrified due to a mysterious event. Using his knowledge and with the help of friends, Senku tries to build a new civilization. The manga series has already ended, you can check out what every character is doing post finale here. The third season is scheduled to release in 2023.

The first season got an overwhelming positive response, however, the 2nd season wasn’t announced till 4 years after the first season aired. Studio Lerche is responsible for the porduction of season 2. The first epiosde will be released on July 4th on Crunchyroll.

Season 3 is also in development, and schedule to release in 2023. Crunchyroll describes the anime series as follows:
