Episode 9 Recap

Episode 9 was titled “The White Mask.” The episode starts with the official reveal that Fitz is Sylphiette. Later, we see Rudeus visit Fitz regarding his teleportation magic research. He recommends he meet a girl who masters this type of magic and might be of great help.

Her name is “Silent Seven Stars,” and Rudeus agrees to meet her. As soon as Rudeus gazes at her, he remembers his traumatic experience with Orsted. She was the one who helped him when he was on the verge of dying. Rudeus later faints from tension.

As soon as he wakes up, she starts to talk in Japanese, which Fitz cannot understand. Her real name is Nanahoshi, and she is the girl Rudeus was trying to save in his real life, after which he was hit by a truck and reincarnated. However, Nanahoshi was also transported to this world afterward.

Because she was transported, not reincarnated like Rudeus, she possesses her average body, which cannot use magic. Rudeus and Nanahoshi have a long chat, which Fiyz cannot understand. She later reveals that the Teleportation incident happened because of her.

This makes Fitz go berserk, as she is reminded of all the bad things that happened after that. But she also suffered because of this incident. Nanahoshi wants to return to her original world, which Rudeus is clearly against because he found friends in this world.

So, they make a deal in which Rudeus will help Nanahoshi in her research regarding teleportation magic. And Nanahoshi will give Rudeus the information he needs.
