Episode 10 Recap
Episode 10 was titled “Summer Cherry Blossoms and Mistakes.” The episode starts with Kiyoka bringing Mio to the address mentioned on Tsuruki’s business card. There, they meet Tsuruki, and he tells them that they are present at the Usuba family house.
Tsuruki reveals that his real name is Arata Usuba, and he has been hiding this from Kiyoka and Mio. In reality, he is Mio’s cousin. Later, Arata’s grandfather appears who tells Mio that her mother was his daughter, and loose threads start to connect.
They let Mio and Kiyoka enter the house. Inside investigations continue, and Mio learns she feels safe in this house. This is because of the Usuba family barrier protecting the house.
Mio also learns that her abilities are about to awaken. She was powerless since her childhood because someone sealed away her powers. But now, they are about to awaken. Her power, named “Dream-Sight,” can enter other’s dreams.
So, they demand Kiyoka to leave Mio here until she recovers. As Kiyoka hasn’t been able to protect Mio so far because of his job, this demand seemed valid.

Kiyoka refuses, resulting in a duel between him and Arata over Mio’s custody. Arata uses his supernatural powers during this battle, but Kiyoka remains unharmed. Kiyoka attacks with his supernatural powers, which are military-grade, and scares Arata for a while.
In the end, Arata wins and sends Kiyoka outside the Usuba Mansion in front of Mio’s eyes. His sister berates Kiyoka, and he decides to come back for Mio after his mission. In the end, Mio’s grandfather starts to tell the story of why Mio’s mother sealed her powers.
