My Hero Academia Chapter 396 Recap

Chapter 396, titled “A Quirkless Fight,” began with the Gunga clones vanishing and cutting the focus to All Might. He is concerned that the prophecy of Nighteye might become true if the villain in his foresight was All For One.

Although All Might is quirkless, he is on par with the strength of All For One, thanks to his car Hercules who turned into full body armor for All Might, covering everything except for his smile. All Might requested Hercules to record his fight and La Brava to stream it.

The cops were against streaming as they thought this might be All Might’s final fight, and keeping that in mind, no one would want to see their favorite hero die. Tsukauchi asks La Brava to stop the stream at once.

The fight between AFO and All Might breaks out, and he overpowers All For One. The chapter ends with All Might fighting All For One with his new abilities and knocking him down with a Super Style Smash Kick.

My Hero Academia chapter 397 will be titled “Picking Up The Trash,.” The chapter begins with All Might explaining how he feels terrible while beating up a young man when he himself is over 50.

All Might then states that All For One is not actually a demon lord since a quirkless man can easily beat him. This makes AFO angrier than ever, and he sends All Might flying by attacking him with multiple quirks at once.

With this attack, All Might noticed that AFO has finally started to mix up multiple quirks and use them as a single attack. All Might also notice that talking trash about All For One is working, and he needs to make him lose his temper.

Hercules alerts All Might that the cape and various parts of the armor have been seriously damaged. With this, All Might ask Hercules to activate the support mode fully. All For One taunts All Might that he got everything all wrong; All For One is just taking the trash out of his way.

All For One comes up with a ridiculous comeback and calls All Might’s armor a garbage bag, and all he needs to do is to break that garbage bag as it does not affect All For One. All Might get a flashback where he tells Deku never to rely on support items and thinks about his first meeting with Nana.

We see Nana standing atop several villains she defeated and asking Toshinori if he was planning to beat them all with the metal pipe in his hands. After the flashback, we are cut back to the present, where All Might is going for another attack.

The chapter ends with All For One taunting All Might that his victory is guaranteed, and to that, All Might replies that he should stop making excuses as it is becoming hard to watch.
