Runa Narumi talent agency, Stardust Promotion announced on Dec 29 that voice actress Narumi will be retiring from the entertainment industry after Dec 31. She is popular for voicing Yuika Mitsumine in the The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors franchise.

Runa Narumi was already taking a break from her voice acting from Oct 15 due to poor health. After a few days, Soundorion website announced that Narumi will no longer be a part of unit, because her activities have become difficult.
However, fans are not convinced that “Poor health” is the reason behind the voice actress retirement. A couple of months ago, there had been allegations that Narumi had been unfaithful to her YouTuber boyfriend.
According to China Times, Runa Narumi was having a secret relationship with a businessman, behind the back of her YouTuber boyfriend (who has more than 1 million followers). Further details revealed that the businessman was actually Narumi’s previous boyfriend. The businessman had a partner who was not happy with their relationship, and he leaked some pictures of them on the social media.
The Idolmaster is a video game series created by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Other characters that Runa Narumi has voiced includes Aoi Nekogahora in Rebirth, Erika in Konosuba mobile game. She also voiced Lymee in the anime adaptation of Interspecies Reviewers.
Japan voice acting industry is relentless when it comes to private and professional life. As we saw in case of Tatsuhisa Suzuki, who has been retiring from multiple voice acting Jobs in the past month following the infidelity scandal.
