Tokyo Revengers 229 Spoilers, Release Date & Raw Scans

Updated on November 2nd, 2021

The Tokyo Revengers manga is one of, if not the most popular manga out right now. With its stellar first anime season and its weekly release, Tokyo Revengers has been pulling in so many fans as of recent.

However, the best part of Tokyo Revengers, the part that most people enjoy is the amazing story and fights. Both of which we get a lot of in this week’s chapter.

Chapter 228 Recap

Before we get into this week’s amazing chapter, let’s do a quick recap of what happened last time with our fighters.

The previous chapter, titled ‘Beat Hell Out Of,’ showed us the legendary Black Dragon duo going up against the monster Terano South. Waka shows off his agility as he spins and twists in midair, to kick South right in the face. While Bekei follows up sending South flying with his incredible strength.

Of course, if you’ve read the chapter you know exactly what happens next. South quickly recovers from their tag team attack and takes off his shirt, showcasing his old bullet wounds. South then says you think I would lose to the two of you, before violently going at Waka and Bekei.

Swiftly taking them out of the fight, South then turns to Mikey saying, your the only one who gets me. To which Mikey responds with a quiet gaze. Then in the final panel of the chapter, we see Senju step forward, against her brother, Takeomi’s warnings. As she tells South, I’ll deal with you myself.

Chapter 229 Spoilers

Some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.

The chapter, titled, ‘Go Easy On,’ kicks off right where 228 left the series, with Senju challenging South. Takeomi tries reasoning with his sister begging her to stop. To which an angered Senju tells him to shut up, going on to say, I’ll show you my power.

After Senju readies herself South comes running at her with a punch, she easily parries it before jumping up in the air and kicking South in the face. South backs up and tries his attack again, this time Senju meets him already up in the air. She uses South’s extended arm to hold herself up as she kicks him in the face again. Still in the air Senju does a full front flip and kicks South in his collarbone with her toes. It looks as if she knocks him out.

After this, there is a quick flashback to Takeomi and Senju. Although it is unclear what is happening in this scene we do know that Takeomi says something along the lines of power equals money and more power. To which Senju thinks to herself that Takemomi has changed since they created Brahman, only thinking about power.

After that, we cut to a fight between Kakucho and the members of Brahman, who he quickly defeats easily. Once they are all down Kakucho approaches Mikey. Mikey tells Kakucho that he didn’t come to this place expecting a fight. To which Kakucho responds that he just wants to fight Mikey and land one hit.

After a quick shot of how the other fights have turned out, we can see that most of the Brahman and Rokuhara Tandai grunts have collapsed, or stopped fighting. We also see Sanzu struggling in a fight against one of the Rindou brothers, a fight we haven’t yet seen.

The chapter with a final panel of what looks like Kakucho asking Mikey to fight him again. And it looks as if Mikey is about to grant him that wish.
