Episode 8 Recap

Episode 8 was titled “Sushi & Hot Springs of the Dead.” The episode starts with the introduction of the long German named “Beatrix.” She is transporting various fish to a sushi restaurant as he traveled all the way to Japan to experience the culture here.

Despite Kencho and Shizuka’s amazement, Akira agrees to help her on this trivial task as he wants to show her hospitality. So, they are on their way to the sushi restaurant, and as always, zombies are blocking their way.

So, they devise a plan to burn all the zombies by soaking them with oil. The plan starts to fail once, which depresses Beatrix, but Akira stays firm and motivates her never to lose hope. Someway, they can clear the way and reach the sushi restaurant, where they have the experience of a lifetime.

The next day, as everyone finally needs to bathe, they visit the nearest hot springs to chill and relax. A romance talk starts, which Shizuka ruins because of her wrong perception about dating. Anyways, the boy soaks into the water, feeling rejuvenated.

The girls also try to do the same in their bathrooms, but they have no hot water. During this, zombies pop out of the hot springs, ruining everyone’s hot spring experience. They climb on top of a mountain and mourn their loss of an experience.

Late at night, Akira spots a natural hot spring in the mountains, which he can’t resist. He dived and found Shizuka already taking a bath there. They share an intimate moment as Shizuka tells her honest feelings about dating. Kencho and Beatrix later raid the hot spring!
