Bleach fans have waited ten years and six months for the series to make a return on the small screen; however, no one would have expected that the Bleach TYBW arc would start its journey this way. The first episode of Bleach’s “Thousand Year Blood War” arc was accidentally released on Disney Plus, one day before the official premiere date.
Multiple Twitter users from New Zealand and Brazil reported that the Bleach TYBW arc’s first episode was showing on their Disney+ accounts. Many fans have already downloaded the episode before Disney Plus realized their mistake and took the episode offline.
The question arises whether Bleach will truly be a simulcast or it will receive the same treatment from Disney Plus, as Summer Time Rendering, whose episodes came out on different days for each region.
This is not the first time that one of the Fall 2022 anime episodes has been leaked. Muse Asia leaked the first episode of Mob Psycho 100 season 3, several hours before the official release time.
Bleach ‘Thousand Year Blood War’ arc episode 1 will officially premiere on October 10 at 8:30 AM (Pacific Time). Hulu will premiere the Bleach episodes for US fans, while Disney Plus will stream the episodes for international fans. If you want to support the creators of Bleach who made this anime possible, we urge you not to watch the leaked episode, as the official release is just a few hours from now.
Bleach TYBW arc anime is officially listed with 52 episodes, and the series will run for 4 cours, each having 13 episodes. Crunchyroll recently removed all the previous Bleach episodes from its platform, and even the opening and ending songs of Bleach anime have been removed from Crunchyroll’s YouTube channel. Disney Plus is expected to add the entire Bleach catalogue sometime soon.
