Only two weeks until the Cyberpunk: Edgerunner anime series becomes available on the Netflix streaming service on September 13. To hype up the fans, Netflix has released an NSFW trailer for the upcoming anime series, and after watching the recent trailer, we can promise you that this series will be filled with gore scenes.
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunner anime series is a solo 10-episode story about a street boy fighting to survive in Night Society, a futuristic city fascinated with technology and body alteration. With little to lose, he survives as an edgerunner, a mercenary outlaw known as Cyberpunk.
The Cyberpunk Edgerunner trailer, as seen above, has a very fast tempo, is full of action scenes, and has some nude moments (Netflix dubbed the trailer “NSFW Trailer”). A techno version of Beethoven’s hymn to joy can be heard in the background.

Since 2018, the CD PROJEKT RED team has been working on this new series. Studio Trigger (Star Wars: Vision), a renowned Japanese animation studio, will act as the series’ animation studio, bringing the world of Cyberpunk to life with their trademark colourful style.
