Episode 23 was titled “Judgement Day.” The episode starts with Xenolith transforming into Ziggy to force Shiki’s true power out. Shiki doesn’t know this is a facade, so he angrily breaks through his ropes and attacks Ziggy.
Xenolith later transforms back into his original form. Everyone else except Rebecca manages to break their ropes through their Ether Gears. Rebecca is recommended extra training by Xenolith, as her control over her Ether Gear is weak.
Witch also helps Rebecca in her training when they take a bath. The training continues, and they drop Xenolith back on his island when the training is completed. We later learn that Ziggy wants to kill Shiki, as he is a threat to the whole Cosmos.

During parting, Xenolith handed the Edens Zero a relic that would close them with Mother. So, they now start looking for Relics around the Aoi Cosmos. At one point, Witch recommends everyone to leave Aoi Cosmos for now, as she senses many powerful Ether Gears gathered here.
At the end of the episode, Nero’s subordinate announces destroying every robot’s life to save mankind from the threat of Ziggy and the robots.
