Episode 8 Recap
Episode 8 was titled “Yanagi-kun.” The episode started with Ishikawa looking for Yanagi’s lens, which he dropped on the floor. Sengoku is passing by and misunderstands this whole scene. Later, we see everyone discussing how Yanagi stays reserved around them, and they want to calm him down.
So, they decide to raid him before he boards his bus home, and they do an act. After that, they all drink coffee and give Yanagi one, telling him not to stay alone. We later see everyone sitting in the student council room, and Yanagi sleeps over his table.
He tells everyone his issue of not waking up early because his stopwatch broke every morning. So, they decide that everyone will call him in the morning. The following day comes, and first, Yanagi turns his stopwatch off. Then, he receives a call from Miyamura, Ishikawa, and Sengoku’s message.

We later see an interaction between Yanagi and Sengoku, as Sengoku urges him to be casual around him. He tells Sengoku that he can only be casual around people who he thinks are friends, which breaks his heart.
He later confronts Yanagi and tells him he can talk with him however he wants. He complies, which makes Sengoku happy. We later see Iura and Yanagi playing a dumb game as Ishikawa and Sengoku pass by. Miyamura also joins them, but as usual, one misunderstanding leads to another.
