Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 Spoilers & Raw Scans: Is This It For Takaba?

Wednesday has arrived, and as is the norm, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 240 spoilers have finally surfaced on the internet.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 Spoilers

After Gege-sensei initiated the fights between Higurama and Itadori against Sukuna and Hakari against Uraume, they quickly changed the current focus’s tides, leaving everyone on a deadly cliffhanger.

The series shifted the focus from the crucial fights to Kenjaku, who is currently miles away from their location. Taking place a little behind in time, Kenjaku is spectating the battle between Gojo and Sukuna and is set to fight someone unexpected.

Takaba has arrived at his location, and he will be fighting Kenjaku. At first, it looked like Takaba would lose the fight, considering his weak cursed technique. But as soon as Kenjaku lands his attack on Takaba, he surprisingly negates all the damage.

And thus, the battle begins between Takaba and Kenjaku!

This article will take a deep and thorough look at the spoilers of the upcoming installment of Jujutsu Kaisen, that being chapter 240.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 Spoilers & Raw Scans:

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 will be titled “BAKA SURVIVOR-SURVIVE.” The chapter begins with a flashback of our central sorcerers, where they are discussing a plan to attack Kenjaku before Gojo vs. Sukuna ends.

Hana asks what if there is a possibility that Kenjaku’s side rushes on the sorcerers after Gojo loses? Hakari replies that no one wants that to happen as their hands will be full against Sukuna.

Hana explains that even if they do not get ambushed by Kenjaku, it will be difficult to beat him.

Meanwhile, Kusakabe says they can get rid of Kenjaku with the help of Maki, but he thinks it would undoubtedly be nonsense if they waste their energy before fighting Sukuna. Hana recommends everyone send Takaba to fight Kenjaku.

Both Hakari and Kusakabe doubt Hana’s recommendation. Hana replies that Takaba’s cursed technique might have a bad influence, and she requests them not to tell anyone about it.

As soon as she tries to tell them about his cursed technique, the focus shifts from the flashback to the fight between Kenjaku and Takaba. Kenjaku is attacking Takaba with his centipede curses. Kenjaku realizes his cursed technique was wholly rejected.

Takaba then makes Kenjaku wear an American flag bandana and says, “You cannot win against me.” in English. Kenjaku thinks Takaba’s cursed technique might be creating phenomenons with his imagination.

Kenjaku realizes that his thousand years of cursed technique knowledge is useless against Takaba. But he knows that every cursed technique has a weakness. An argument breaks out between Takaba and Kenjaku where he tells Kenjaku that he won first place in a solo comedian tournament.

The conversation takes a turn. Takaba asks Kenjaku why he likes to kill anyone his way, to which Kenjaku replies it is fun. Takaba says Kenjaku would not need to commit these atrocities if there were something funnier.

Kenjaku replies maybe, and Takaba says it is written all over Kenjaku’s face; it says, “Make me Laugh.” Kenjaku is surprised and annoyed by his cursed technique. Takaba says as it is written all over his face, he shall make him laugh with a gag.

Takaba makes a joke for Kenjaku, but he gets annoyed. Another gag conversation between Kenjaku and Takaba occurs, where Kenjaku denies him logically. While they are still having their conversation, Kenjaku finally manages to land a hit on Takaba.

Kenjaku has discovered Takaba’s weakness, which relies on the user’s certainty and confidence. Takaba is sent flying away and is enraged at Kenny. If the joke does not make him laugh, it would not matter if it makes everyone else laugh.

Takaba asks Kenjaku to play a game; if he laughs, he loses. He proceeds to make a funny face, but Kenjaku counters him with a much funnier face. Takaba loses the challenge by laughing at Kenjaku’s distorted face and gets punched again.

Beginning to lose his cool, Takaba tries to encourage himself by saying that he is also funny and later passes out. Sadly, his confidence will take him too far; he begins losing confidence as he sees Hazenoki’s dead body.

Kenjaku arrives near Takaba and menacingly looks down at him. He asks Takaba what’s wrong. Is not he a comedian? Takaba loses his confidence drastically and says this is not laughable, and why did he even become a comedian in the first place?

The chapter ends with Takaba losing his confidence. No break next week! The series will continue pre-dominantly in the next issue of Weekly Shounen Jump.

With the spoilers, the hype and anticipation of Takaba’s next move have increased. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 240 is scheduled to be released on October 30, 2023, and will be available to read on the Viz Media website and Mangaplus app/website.
