Episode 8 Recap
Episode 8 was titled “The Shibuya Incident.” The episode starts with another veil placed in another location besides the Shibuya Station. Mei Mei’s team is assigned to care for this veil and the person who erected this veil.
Her team consists of Itadori and Ui Ui, Mei Mei’s younger brother. They decided to split pathways and meet at a specific location where they could find the person who erected this veil. Itadori decides to take the subway’s pathway, where he meets a curse who eats a human.

This curse is a proud and stupid one. It was kept here to protect the veil that another person erected. Itadori immediately attacks it, and we later see that this curse is the “Locust Curse,” which originates from the infamous locust plague years ago.
The curse tries its best to overpower Itadori but is helpless against Itadori’s rage against curses. He defeats the curse and lowers the veil. We see Jogo, Hanami, and a third mysterious cursed spirit inside the other veil. They have cornered Gojo.
As Pseudo-Geto advised them, Gojo and Hanami surround Gojo with non-sorcerers. After killing a few people, they attack Gojo simultaneously with a new technique called “Domain Amplification.” This is very similar to Shadow Domain Style, as it is confirmed to hit it’s target.
Later, Gojo gets pretty angry at both of them, as he is disappointed they think cornering him like that would help them win against the strongest sorcerer alive.
